Behold lame and boring Sanctus part II. Old fart needs a makeover. Again, make sure you have Snatch LV3.
- This is basically Sanctus battle 1 repeated all over again, so you can use the same strategy as before.
- The only difference is that Sanctus starts off as offensive as he was when his health goes down to 30% in the previous battle. But no matter what you’re still gonna have to use the same strategy to get to him and break his barrier anyway so yeah, it doesn’t matter.
- Sometimes, Sanctus would use Sparda to guard himself when you try to knock him down after his barrier breaks. When this happens, DB him and it'll crush his guard, and then you can whack him until he's down.
- Once he’s down, unleash DT and whack him several times before you grab him with O for a DB attack. (He lasts long enough for 1+ combo, but not 2 full combos if you want to end it with a DB attack) Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 until his health goes down to less than 30%.
- Now, each time you knock him down Sanctus will perform a series of charge attacks with Sparda. You can easily side roll/Table Hopper away from it until he’s done.
- Then, unleash DT if you have it and try to get to him and attack while he’s recollecting himself. He may retaliate sometimes so jump/side roll if you see him attack.
- The most important part, however, is to spam Aerial Combo when he slowly floats back to the air to regain his barrier. Hit him enough (especially with DT) and he will be knocked back down. Hit him not enough and he’ll regain his barrier and you’ll have to repeats all the above steps until you succeed. Sounds fun, aye? =_=
- Another way (thanks to Marvin) to counter Sanctus while he does the series of charged attacks with Sparda is to buster (press O) him before he hits you. It'll require a certain timing just like with Credo but once you get the hang of it it'll make this battle so much easier, especially for DMD mode. DT and mash [] during the action sequence for maximum damage.
- The end. Enjoy the lame ending.
