Requirements – Fist of God, Yes Man Kablaam (YMK). Chain Yanker 

A few things to note before we delve into the meat of this strat, the Evil Gene will begin the fight either by firing off a Double Shaolin or a Shockwave 2, easiest way to dodge either of these is to quickly turn left or right and dash away as the attack comes toward you.  This is easy to do with Double Shaolin but with Shockwave 2’s speed it may be better to time a backflip thru it instead, side dashing Shockwave 2 will most likely result in you getting hit unless it is impeccably well timed! (as witnessed in the provided vid) 

Do NOT face kick Evil Gene when dashing toward him, he will most likely either duck it and do a sweep kick or counter with Half Moon Kick which hurts quite a bit (also as seen in the provided vid). 

You’ll have no choice but to either try and attack Evil Gene normally or cautiously dodge all of his attacks until he performs his trademark double God Hand unleash, if you are close enough to him when this happens, you can get 2 YMKs in before the unleash animation completes, otherwise you’ll only be able to get one or worse, none in.  Anyways whether you get any YMKs in or not (you’ll need to get a few of them in to have enough TP to survive the fight and fully utilize this strat) immediately about face and run towards the nearest wall, when you are flush against it IMMEDIATELY hit R1 and select Chain Yanker from the roulette wheel because depending on the circumstances Evil Gene will most likely be right next to you and about to hit you. 

After Chain Yanker works it’s magic on Evil Gene, do the following: 
YMK > Side Dash > YMK > Side Dash > Pummel

The 2nd Side dash is important because you want the positioning to be like this: 
Wall > Evil Gene > You 

After the Pummel sequence finishes (if positioning is correct) Evil Gene will still be right next to you and will power down from his unleash, you can get one more YMK in here before Evil Gene recovers, you could also sneak in a YMK if you successfully dodge a Double Shaolin whilst being right next to Evil Gene as he fires it. 

Your Tension Gauge should have built up plenty by now for an unleash.  If Evil Gene is next to a wall it’s time for pain!  (refer to the positioning guide above) 

Immediately after unleashing start charging Fist of God, the instant is connects with Evil Gene’s face, duck cancel it and charge again, repeat until your unleash runs out.
