Speed Run

This speed run guide/walkthrough is written according to CaT's playstyle
on a fresh run on EASY mode. Best for intermediate and above players.

Stage 5-1
(Minimum aim: ~20-50 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Run past the enemies and across the bridge where a cutscene plays.

  1. If you want to save the villager for the free roulette Home Run God, run behind the elite in the center and do a Typhoon Kick to send all 3 of them flying into the waters. If you don't have any orbs, kick the regular thug off with a Face Kick, and guard break + High Side Kick the other 2 into the water. This will waste a lot more time though. Once done, grab the roulette quickly and run for the door to the next area.
  2. If you don't care for the roulette, run straight for the door to the next area.

Stage 5-2
(Minimum aim: ~25 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5

Ignore ALL enemies and run ALL the way to the end to the next area.

Stage 5-3
(Minimum aim: ~25 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Pick up the explosive can to your right, run past the ladies and throw it at the bridge. Be careful not to get hit by the ladies from the back and run all the way to the end and board the ship.

Stage 5-4: Ravel
(Minimum aim: ~3 min)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Run up to the deck and finish the mini game. Once done, deal with the enemies quickly; unleash godhand if you have it. (It's randomized whether you'll face 1 or 2 waves of enemies) Don't worry about killing the villager, just finish the enemies ASAP. If any of the waves includes one with spiked club, aim for him first so that you can steal his club. You can spam High Side Kick cancels on him to quickly refill TP and then take his club. Kill off the rest with it.

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Assuming you have godhand ready, unleash it and kill off the small fry first before Ravel. The remaining TP should be enough to take out about 50~70% of Ravel's life, including a non-godhand pummel at the end.

Once Ravel's all that's left, deal with him like a typical elite. You can spam High Side Kick cancels as well.

Stage 5-5
(Minimum aim: ~40 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Run all the way past the area and up the stairs twice to grab the key by the little devil on the 3rd floor. Once obtained, run back down and unlock the gate to the next area.

Stage 5-6
(Minimum aim: ~30-65 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Stick to the left and run to the beat-the-door on the other side to avoid the first 2 enemies' attention. Open the door as fast as possible while ducking the flying daggers thrown at you from the skinny asses above. Once open, run to gate on the other side and enter the next area, ignoring the enemies.

Stage 5-7: Ravel & Debussy
(Minimum aim: ~2 min)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

The fastest way to beat these 2 is if you're lucky enough to have 2-3 orbs ready, like me. LOL. If you do have 2 orbs, with some luck perform Home Run God on BOTH of them when they're aligned close enough. That alone will take out 70% of both their health, and then you can take out the rest anyway you can.

If you don't have 2 orbs or none at all, you'd probably have to rely on godhand and High Side Kick cancels. Good luck on that one. >_o;;

Stage 5-8
(Minimum aim: ~25 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Fully charge Fist of Justice and hit the iron ball with it. Quickly catch up with it when it rolls away and hit it again with a fully charged Fist of Justice before back flipping away from the electrocuted floor. The 3rd Fist of Justice should clear the path. After that, quickly taunt the clown once for TP (optional) and then run straight for the door.

Stage 5-9: Demon Elvis
(Minimum aim: ~1 min 45 sec)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

As the battle begins, back flip once and taunt Elvis quickly for some TP (unless your TP is already full) and unleash the moment it's ready. Punch as fast as you can so that Elvis will be dizzied by the end of your unleash, and then get in 2 Yes Man Kablaams and a pummel.

Always stay close to him (of punching distance) and keep punching until you're ready for one more unleash. By the end of your 2nd unleash and pummel, Elvis should be left with very little health. You can take him out safely by throwing the objects around at him or keep punching away with confidence.
