Yay! The first weekend since
school started! ACK! Why did school have to start so soon?!
Well at least I don't have school on Fridays this term =) and
that's why I got to sleep for 15 hrs today. Mwahahaha! Well,
it's turning Saturday morning in 3 minutes...
Oh, I also found out certain
things that happen to me came in threes =P I'm taking 3 classes,
I bought 3 new games (Xenosaga I, Onimusha I and III) and 3
new manga (I can't wait for the manga to come!). Mwehehe...
And I'm supposed to be saving my money... Shite.
I watched The Island today
with a friend in the theatre. Pretty good movie, tho' we were
bout 10 minutes late. Figuring what the movie was about took
a while. Haha. |

OMG!!! I defeated Sephiroth in
Kingdom Hearts at level 73!! Oh my god... I still can't believe
it. I mean, I didn't even think I could beat him at all! I kept
trying for 4 hours continuous, starting with level 66. Then
I figured I should level up to level 70, so I did and retried
and still failed. Ack. So I continued to level up a little more
and kept retrying until I kept losing for like 4 times in a
row, real badly. A few times I nearly defeated him but ended
up dying anyways, and it's always under that SAME ONE MOVE.
I don't remember losing to any of his other moves. Guess I was
lucky, the last time I tried he did less of that crazy move.
That is SUCH A CHEAP move!! It depletes all your HP and MP,
but leaves you with 1 HP. If you don't recover using Elixir
you're DEAD in the next half second.
Anyway, now I'm officially done
with the game, since I'm done with all the optional bosses!!
YAY!! Mwahahaha!! I didn't even have to do all those nasty side
mushroom quests and synthesis thing. Those mushrooms are like
10000x more annoying and frustrating than facing 50 Sephiroths!
God, I'm glad I really didn't have to go through that. Figured
I don't need Ultima weapon after all =P
Although I have to admit Sephiroth's
the hardest boss, that's really just because he has that one
insane move. Without that move he's really not that hard. If
he doesn't have that move, I say Kurt Zisa (the machine
you fight in the desert in Agrabah) is tougher. He's so damn
annoying! He keeps flying here and there and he has unavoidable
moves, and even worse, he locks your magic!! Defeating him took
some time too since I was only level 64 when I fought him. The
walkthrough suggests I'm around level 77, but dude! How can
I ever level up that much!? I'm not even that high of a level
AFTER defeating Sephiroth!! So what the hell!!?
The other tough one is Phantom
in the Clock Tower in Neverland. That one was a pain in the
ass. I can't control well when I have to fly around, going up
and down as well. I'm just not used to it and camera angle can
be horrible. It was bad bad bad when I started losing my teammates
too!! The walkthrough, again, says it should be easy if I'm
at a level of 77, but dude!! I was able to finish it at level
60!!! It was a tough challenge but honestly I'd rather challenge
than wasting my hours away leveling up. |

Once
again it's morning 6.51am and yes I'm still awake, as always!
Just finished Kingdom Hearts, finally, and remembered that the
ending was hella sucky. And oh my god, there's like the word
'heart' or 'darkness' in every 5 words every character speak!!
"Your heart will bla bla bla", "If our hearts
are strong enough bla bla bla", "The heart emerges
from the darkness bla bla bla", "My heart is too strong.
The Darkness can't take it away bla bla bla". OMG shut
up already!! How many times do you have to repeat those words?!?!
I also thought the story's pretty
stupid. From head to toe, start to end, it's all about hearts
hearts hearts and darkness darkness darkness, and the 3rd favorite
word after that is light light light. They seriously need to
reconsider their excessive use of these honestly boring words.
I'm still like level 61 when
I fought the last boss after the Final Save and the walkthrough
says I'm supposed to be right around level 65. What the hell,
I didn't think I was that far behind! O_o Since I was following
it and it told me to go fight that Phantom boss in Neverland's
clock tower, I did, but it says I should be around level 77
then to beat his ass no problem. What the hell!! I was only
at level 60 then (but I still managed to defeat it)!! That's
17 levels lower!! How the hell am I supposed to level up that
much?!?! And worse, I don't have Sora's ultimate weapon, neither
Donald's nor Goofy's, and I don't think I want to do that cos'
I can already tell my blood, brain, organs will explode inside
me. Think about all that crazy effort which is nearly impossible,
at least for me, just to get their ultimate weapons. Donald's
possible, but definitely not Sora's and Goofy's.
Then, the walkthrough also says
that by the time I defeat Sephiroth, considering I've followed
the walkthrough linearly, I'd be around level 81. Are you serious!?
Against Sephiroth at a level lower than that?! Now that's something
I've never heard of, ever! O_o Regardless though, I'm still
gonna try just playing against him, though I'm only at level
61 now. Mwahahhaa!! I should prepare some nice soft cushion
for my sore butt later on. Well I'm glad at least I don't have
to fight him in air or water. Phewzz...
Well okay, in my last blog entry
I complained about the game's cons, so perhaps I should mention
a few pros too, tho' to me they really are the ONLY pros.
- Changing Sora and gang’s
costumes in Atlantica and Halloween Town is neat, especially
Halloween Town.
- The Mermaid Kick
ability is cool, but the Glide ability is what ROCKS
most!!!! Too awesomely cool.
- Being able to fly in Neverland
was cool too. It works just like how you swim around in Atlantica
but this is much better and more fun since you can choose
to land and walk normally as well.
- All the Disney characters
have awesome voice actors, my favorite being Hades.
- Boss battles are fun.

It's
Wednesday morning 3.36am and yes I'm still awake! Was playing
Kingdom Hearts before, replaying a stupid mini-game again and
again just cos' I'm too stubborn to give up the prize item.
Dude, this game is seroiusly tedious and is potentially annoying!!
ARGH.
Anyway, I finally completed DMC2
(Dante version) the other day, right before I started Kingdom
Hearts, and damn, it didn't even take more than 4 hrs to complete
it and it was my first time playing it. Man that game is pretty
sad, but well I'll do anything for Dante =D And for fun I thought
I should write down all the pros and cons that I think the game
has.
Pros:
- It's CG cutscenes actually
look good - texturized enough and doesn't look obviously polygonal/pixelated
like DMC3.
- Dante has a nice outfit -
the best in the series so far.
- The dodge/circle button is
awesome. It's actually better than running around although
it makes Dante looks retarded.
Cons:
- Environments are too pointlessly
big.
- Unexciting gameplay.
- There's no real storyline.
- Enemy designs are ridiculouly
retarded.
- Bad bad script. Unexciting,
boring, cheesy.
- Alternate costumes look bad.
In fact, Dante's looks gay.
And speaking of cons, Kingdom
Hearts has a few I feel like mentioning:
- Cutscenes aren't cancellable/fast
forwardable.
- Certain parts of the game
get repetitive and boring.
- There're many tedious mini
games and hurdles that'll require countless retries and repeats
if you fail.
- Gummi ship space travel is
meaningless.
- The music can get annoying
after a while.

It's about 2AM today when I finally
resumed DMC3!! Dude, that last mission of Dante Must Die is
freakin' crazey!! Not that I've never mentioned that to anybody
before but that was just too much!!! I really could
have broken my own nervous system just playing that mission!
However, playing it normally and fairly didn't work, even after
numerous tries, so I ended up using DT Dante for that mission
and guess what? Even with DT Dante it took 25 min 50 sec and
10 vital stars to defeat Vergil!! O_O!! What the hell!? Vergil
Battle 3 in Normal mode only takes me 3~4 min at the most!!
Easy mode only takes 2 min!! OMG... that goes to show how insane
this battle is for Christ Allah Buddha's sake!!
Anyway, I'm now too lazy to replay
it fair and square so I've decided to leave it as is. Now the
sad news is, I still don't see Yamato as the rumor says. Well,
I must have missed something, especially since I've not completed
secret mission 12, but dude, that secret mission is also insane!!!
ARGH!!
Though it's really time for me
to try a new game I suddenly felt like just replaying a few
missions of the old Devil May Cry game but dude, the game's
gone!! I can't find it!! Where the hell did it go?! I think
I might have lent it to somebody but I really don't remember
lending it, though I'm very sure of who it'll be if I did. I
better not have lost it!! >_<! Maybe it's a sign that
it's time for me to finish Devil May Cry 2 first... God, that
game is quite the insult to Dante... but I'll play it anyway,
just cos' it's Dante =) Besides, laughing till I break down
as I play the game can be pretty amusing sometimes. =P |

First
day after I watched FF7AC and my head is too full of the movie.
I practically can't think of anything else but it. I had a long
sleep today too - 14 hrs, which is 3 hrs longer than my usual
sleep during holidays. XP
Man, the movie is too good I can't really describe it until you watch it. Lotsa insane
battles with movements so fast my eyes can't catch up. However,
the best thing isn't any of that for me. My favorite scenes
in the entire movie have to be ANY SCENE with Reno & Rude
in it. For those who know me well enough would know that Reno's
my #1 favorite video game character, and that even Dante's #2.
However sadly to admit, I didn't know much of Reno and Rude's
personalities and such since they have very few appearances
in the game. From the movie though, I finally understood their
real character, which now makes me obsessed with them more than
never before!! They're just too hilarious and adorable!!!! ^__^!!
Kyaaa~~!!
Anyway, in my previous blog entry
I said that there's no English subs available but dude, desperate
fans can be super fast O_o. In like less than 12 hrs
God-sama told me the English sub is available for download from
the same site. I assume that if any FF7 fan is actually reading
this blog entry at all, they probably would already know this
anyway, no? =P
For those
who haven't seen the FF7AC movie, please be warned that everything
below will be SPOILERS!!
After watching the movie, I noticed
several wonders of FF7AC. Very interesting.
- Rufus's complexion is as smooth
and perfect considering he's supposed to have died
under a huge explosion. No scars, no handicap whatsoever as
well.
- Everyone's hair stays perfectly
styled even after getting wet and or beaten up.
- Cloud is able to grab and pull
Masamune out of his shoulder and stick it into the wall behind
without losing his fingers.
- In Ajit when Kadaj commanded
them, the children seemed to jump out and appear from nowhere.
- Yazoo's ammos are unlimited while
Vincent's are not.
- Reno is able to climb even walls
that are flat, and very fast too.
- One moment the FF7 gang were
on the ground, next moment they got so high up, ready to push
Cloud further into the sky.
- Yuffie can run against gravity
on walls.
- Clothes wear and tear, like Kadaj's,
but their skin stays scratch-less, scar-less and clean no
matter what happens during battles.
- No matter the color of their
hair, ALL of them have black eye lashes. Mascara anyone?
- Yazoo shoots Cloud near the end,
but there's no hole in his shirt. (Considering the wound might
have been healed by Aeris)
Unfortunately, I also found many
missing scenes in the movie that are in the trailer.
- Cloud riding his motorbike and
Kadaj standing at the end of a highway casting lighting, and
later clashing swords with Cloud who's still on his bike.
- Loz hitting Cloud with lightning
speed, causing Cloud to fly far away backwards and the camera
zooms in on Yazoo who turns around to shoot.
- Vincent jumping off a tree.
- Kadaj walking close to the man
hidden in white robes, then kneels before him holding his
hand.
- Kadaj and Cloud fighting, Kadaj
manages to hit Cloud's sword away and Cloud continues to swing
his other sword. (Cloud still has his left arm covered)
- Barret smiling, his gun-arm
held up but not expanded.
- Cloud walking in a dark church,
later faces the camera.
- Kadaj and gang on their bikes.
With the camera close up, Kadaj later turns around and says
something, his hair flowing in the wind.
Of course, there also are things
that surprised me. =)
- Rufus is alive and well, and
beautiful =P
- Yazoo has a manly voice despite
his feminine looks, which is good.
- Reno & Rude are actually
a hilarious duo and they play a decently important
role. (Love those two!!)
- Vincent, who used to be optional
for Christ's sake, actually plays a pretty decently important
role as well.
- Sephiroth really came back.
O_o
- RedXIII has such a soft voice!!
- They actually have Cloud perform
his limit breaks!
Along with surprises
come disappointment.
- Vincent didn't turn into his
beast forms (limit break)
- Yazoo and Loz's role is too
much based on only their battles.
- The other FF7 teammates play
too small a role.
- Omnislash didn't seem to reach
15 hits as should like in the game.

Just
when I thought I was trapped in total darkness, I saw this small
light of hope reaching out towards me from the depths of technology,
of this online service called MSN Messenger, where at the end
of it stood an old online friend, and whom I now see as GOD.
(Okay, or at least, my savior)
At first, I thought I sense a
threat of spoilers that will traumatize me for the whole year,
but NOO!! I mistook God-sama!! For in fact, God-sama has come
to release me from my suffering!! The suffering of impatience
that has nearly made me insane for the past one year!! God-sama
has finally brought Final Fantasy VII Advent Children to me!!!!!!
O_O!!!!!
Even now, I'm still "WTF??!?!"
cos' the DVD's official Japanese release isn't even until 2
days from now! I have no idea, God-sama also has no idea, but
whatever the reason, FF7AC is actually, and by no lies, available
for DOWNLOAD!!!
Well of course, no one can expect
it to have English subs since it's ripped from the original
Japanese DVD itself, but it does have Japanese subs, and I'm
SO VERY willing to spend even a month if needed to look up all
the words that I don't know!! However, I still need some patience...
though I'm running out of it very quickly. I'm downloading
through BitComet right now and it's going freaking slowly!!!
How many days of downloading is it gonna make me wait?!?! AAAHHH!!
Ok... I need to relax... Oh yeah,
I found out that Dirge of Cerberus is gonna be released in 2006.
No idea what month what day, but since they say it's 2006, let's
just assume it's on 31st December 2006. Dude, it's Square Enix,
you know what you can't do - hope.
Also, I just found out that FF7
Before Crisis, the game made in honor of the Turks
is also gonna be released in 2006. The crazy thing is, it's
a freaking cellphone game!!!!!! WTF really!?!? Why the hell
would anyone play long hrs of RPG on a freaking cellphone!?!
For some reason I've thought for it to be a GBA game, and now
that I think of it I have no memory why I came to think so but
why cellphones of all things?! This is getting more and more
ridiculous!! |

Thanks to Aiko (Jennifer), I
got all pepped up again about Vincent Valentine after we chatted
about FF7's characters the other time. My obsession for Vincent
has faded away since a while back but he still remains a very
favorite character =)
And becos of that, now I so can't
wait for Dirge of Cerberus to be realeased. I have no idea of
when it's going to be released though, which makes it even worse.
But it's Square Enix... no one can trust Square Enix and their
release dates. It has the real time battle system but at the
same time it feels like a mix of the olden FF turned-based +
DMC real time battle, which is really cool. =D Oh, not to mention
it also feels very FPS (first person shooting); I think it's
made to be =P.
I saw the E3 trailer on its official
site, and it's so AWESOME!! The graphics! The cinematography!!
The mysteriousness to the storyline!! OMG!! I so can't wait!!!
I've known about Dirge of Cerberus since last year but I was
actually never this excited about it. O_o'' Well, until today
I've never really seen any good trailers to the game, so that
might explain why, but damn! The trailer's really really good!!
It totally made me wanna play right now!! (I remember such a
situation with DMC3... =D) This game actually has the same kind
of CG quality for its cutscenes as Final Fantasy VII Advent
Children, dude!!! I didn't think it would be!! OMG... must research
when it's gonna be released...

I
learnt about this a few days ago but I only remembered it today
and it's making me go crazy. Can you believe they delayed the
release date for the US version of the Final Fantasy VII Advent
Children DVD?!? My f*cking god!! How many times have they done
that?!! Are they trying to test the patience of every FF fan
in the world!? I'm so going NUTS!!! I'm even sooo tempted to
just get the Japanese version and do something about the regional
coding thing, but other friends told me it's better to just
wait. ARGH!!! Damn Square Enix!!
And man... It's been 2 weeks
since I last touched DMC3... What a miracle. Out of 100 missions
from all 5 modes, I've cleared 99 of them. All I need is that
one last one before I can confirm if the rumor about being able
to get Yamato, Vergil's sword, is true. Just think about how
awesomely COOL it'll be if Dante gets to do Vergil's
ass-kicking moves!! That's like the game's best thing!!! Really
tempted you know, but I might have lost the touch. Dante Must
Die Mission 20 is the game's hardest mission, and of
course, it'll be a shame if it's not. But well... I think I'll
resume later. Been trying to finish the remaining episodes of
Monster, up to where it's latest. And then there's One Piece
this weekend... Hehe. |

Went to Walmart today to shop for certain things..
and I ended getting myself this really really super soft and
comfy blanket, which the receipt lists as a "raschel throw".
No idea what that means, and I don't care if it's not meant
to be used as a blanket but it's too soft and good to not be
used as one. Man, if anyone of you have extra cash to spend
on some 'luxury' comfort, this blanket is a must O_o I'm not
really feeling rich but I totally wanted to spoil myself, so
there goes my $$...
I also bought chew toys for my
gerbils in an attempt to save my cage from destruction. I have
no idea how effective it'll be but we shall see the results
in the next few days... It's only been a few minutes since I
gave them one to chew on but when I went to check on them, one
end of the 'toy' was already chewed off decently bad. Gosh...
Anyway, I'm resuming Monster
again...Man, some episodes yesterday were pretty disturbing
O_o I was so eeped out I had to mute the sound and
cover my eyes so that I only see the subtitles and nothing else.
My god, I've really never seen any other villain who can be
any more manipulative than Johan... And now the anime is getting
so disturbing I don't think I can rest well until I see some
GOOD thing happen to those who deserve it, especially Dr Tenma!!
AAhhh!!!

I
was so eager to continue renting the next DVD box set for One
Piece only to find out that again, someone has rented it out
first and for a whole week in advanced!! The anime DVD rental
store is only for 2 days but apparently she paid more and rented
it for a week!! OMG! That's spending 3 times more than most
people normally do! She must be nuts... but that was yesterday.
So here I am feeling empty since there's no One Piece to watch...
and ended up resuming Monster which I've stopped watching for
the longest time.
Monster's a really good, high
quality anime in terms of storyline. It's dark and suspenseful,
sometimes sad. It may even be disturbing but it's still a great
anime. I'd highly recommend this to those who look forward to
good storylines, and doesn't mind it being dark. However, with
a total of 70+ episodes, Monster is not one of the shortest
anime so people without patience (I know many people like this)
may not even consider. Ah well, I'm enjoying it nevertheless.
=)

It's
Saturday morning 4.21am and I'm still up, as always, busy trying
to complete the other website (Animangame Oscar Awards) I made
4 days ago. Until that site is fully done I won't be completing
the other pages to this site, so uh, wish myself luck, I guess.
And for those who're actually reading this piece of useless
entry now, I say you rock. =P
Okay, it's now 8.53pm and I'm
wanting to watch the One Piece DVD that I rented today, but
it's not working!! WTF?! I've been waiting one whole week for
this and now it's not working?! The stupid DVD player in my
computer just won't read the first disc!! And I'm not the kind
of person who's willing to skip episodes. Dammit!! So I called
my sister and asked if she has a DVD player so spare but as
I already expected, she sounded very annoyed. I can't blame
her since this is not her problem yet she has to make the effort
to drive over and lend me the DVD player, but she always makes
it sound like I'll destroy that player. -_-# Argh!! Why can't
this DVD player just read that goddamn DVD?! It's only 8.48pm
now and I've only been awake for barely 4 hours but now I have
to wait for tomorrow?? Dude my whole night's plan's destroyed!!
Aaaaahhh!! T_T |

I'm
more surprised with myself having a 'blog' than anything else.
(I don't consider this a real blog cos' it's not one
of those you register for free. I made this by my own hand and
sweat -.-") On top of that, I have to manage everything
myself. I must be giving myself unnecessary stress. I don't
believe in blogs, and believe it or not I still DON'T. Really,
who will ever be interested in knowing that much in detail about
me, so much that they'd actually visit my blog from time to
time anyway? Mwahahahaha! But, for those who're reading this
right now, let't me at least say HI~~!! =) Pop around again
next time.
Oh yeah! I really gotta say something
bout my pet gerbils. I think they're going nuts. Last night
I found out that they've chewed off the entire plastic exercise
wheel in the cage. Then today, I saw that the 'door' to their
plastic house has enlarged by half - they chewed one side off.
What the hell is going on?? Do they hate plastic so much?? Really,
I think they're plotting something wicked. They've been trying
to built something with the sawdust and the cotton balls I gave
them, but they don't sleep in it. Creepy... Better check on
them more often.
