| This is the first
video game I ever played in my life when I was 5. It was way
full of memories. I remember that I would sit with my brother

| Now THIS is the
game that got me started playing all other games in the arcade,
all thanks to my cousin, the very same one I played Donkey Kong
with. He was into fighting games and he introduced me to those
he played, starting with this one. My oh my, you don't know
all the things I'd do just to cheat my grandma so that I can
go to the arcade. I remember always getting caned by my grandma
when she found out. Hahaha! Great memories indeed! |

them. First of all, the new art style for the illustrations
were just way too different and strange for most of the fan's
taste. The gameplay wasn't as fun as 2000 as well. So even after
this came out I still stuck with 2000 and seldom touch this
altho' I'd watch others play it. |

the US after KOF 2001, I never got to play this game until I
finally went back to Singapore for a visit when I was 18, and
by then even KOF 2003 had come out. It was a strange moment
for me since it was the first time in 1.5 years that I was able
to touch KOF in an arcade again. I never got to play a lot of
this even though I have it on an emulator now. It feels much
like KOF 98, just better, and I do think it's a nice game regardless
of my inactiveness. |

| My very first Crash
Bandicoot game and I was in love. Even my parents enjoyed watching
me play! In fact, it's the ONLY game they'll sit down to watch
me play! This happened to be one of the free games I got from
getting my Playstation and I'm glad I got it. It marked the
start of my liking towards platform games. I'm also proud to
say I complete this game a full 100% with ALL crystals, sapphires
and all collected. It took FOREVER. I started when I was 14
and finally completed it fully at age 17. |

| This!! THIS, is
my VERY FIRST RPG EVER. Believe it or not I used to dislike
RPG, thinking that the turn based battle concept is just ridiculously
stupid. But this! This game made me take my word back. I still
remember very clearly that it was one afternoon when my brother
was booting up every single game he had just to watch the opening
cutscenes. When he boot up Suikoden II he got a call from someone
and so while waiting for him to be finished I started messing
with the game, and surprisingly I thought "Hey! This is
FUN!!" That was the beginning of it all. I've played this
game SO MANY times, I can bet it's as many as 7 times from start
to end, but I never got to complete it a 100%. I did so only
after I completed Suikoden 1 and then used the save file to
load on to Suikoden II. I finally completed it fully at age
17 in the US. If not for this game I'd have never played FF7. |

| My 2nd RPG. Why
did I choose to play this of all other RPGs? It's not really
becos' I want to or think it's that great or something, to be
honest. It's becos I already knew about it from my cousin. =P
Before I played this game myself, I often watched my cousin
play it. I even knew certain things already before I played
it myself, and I was pretty familiar with the characters. I
didn't play it only because I didn't think I could handle RPGs.
But later I tried it, after completing Suikoden II, so that
I could play my 2nd RPG. I forgot whose copy it was that I borrowed
cos' I never had my own, and man, I can swear I played this
game nearly as many times as Suikoden II. One time in Indonesia
when I replayed it again I finished it in 2 days. I even played
it again from the start after coming to the US, and for the
first time attempted the chocobo quest even tho' I failed to
succeed. A great game filled with sweet memories. |

thought FF8 had the most complicating configuration system,
and was afraid to try it myself becos' I just couldn't understand
how it works. Even with my boyfriend's guidance it took me forever
to understand. I first played it together with my boyfriend
at his place, but since I played under his supervision 90% of
the time it's technically him who's playing it, not me. And
we never really got to finish it for some reason. I finally
played this on my own at age 19 in the US, after 2 years of
total gaming absence. It felt nostalgic just playing it, and
I even got to beat Omega weapon myself, and even without using
Squall =P Even now, I'm still proud of it =) A nice game in
the overall. |
