5th November 2007, Monday

Hi all, it’s been a month. O_o;;  Once again, time sure flies by fast. Soon enough I’m gonna go to New Zealand, and then start work, and then my sister’s gonna deliver her first baby. ^__^! WOOT! Many things happened in the past month, most of it to do with job hunting and I’m not going into that, so I’m just gonna summarize most it, especially since most of my family/friends already know about all of it. LOL.

First off, I got a job. @_@ OMFG and YAY!! *Faints* I don’t want to go into details but the company’s Sun Microsystems and for some reason I just am certain that I will like it very much there. ^__^ *Dances*

Secondly, I bought myself a new PC – a custom-built CPU by itself. I got it with the help of my brother from Simlim (Bugis area) from a store called Fuwell where we chose all the separate parts and then had them assemble it for us. It’s a cool PC and I love it, even though it’s considerably expensive... >_<! There were a number of software issues that we had to deal with for a couple of days but now that it’s working, it’s working fabulously, I think. LOL. This time, I named it Seipher, aka “safer”. LMAO! (Considering how fast my previous com broke down) It’s also really a different spelling for “Seifer” (pronounced sy-fer) which is the name of a character in Final Fantasy 8, whose name I simply love. In fact, if I ever have a son (LMAO), I will name him that. *_*

Next, as I’ve mentioned above, I’ll be going to New Zealand in about week! @_@ This is the first time I’ve ever wanted to go overseas on my own, especially when I have to pay for everything myself! *Wallet empty* It’s so expensive it’s 500 bucks more than my very precious new PC!! O_O!!! And that’s not even including the fee for the visa application! Which reminds me, this is also the first time I applied for a visa and the sort entirely by myself, like knowing where to go and what to do. @_@ Somehow I feel so proud of myself. XD Hahahaha! Well, this has cost me a lot and it’s gonna cost me more once I get there but I’m sure that I’ll enjoy this limited-chance vacation very much. After all, I’m going to New Zealand to meet my super close online friend… *Hugs Krizy~~* Wait for me Krizy! I’m coming for you~~! Oh right, I’ll be there for 2 weeks, from the 12th to 26th, so there’ll be much to tell when I come back ^_^! But the 27th is when I start my first day of work @_@ so man… I sure hope my brain will be back from holiday mode. ^^;;

And now, let’s rewind a bit back to last month on the 6th of November. That is when I had a class gathering with my primary school friends from 10 years ago. It was a day full of nostalgia I still find it quite hard to think that everyone has grown and changed so much. We met at ‘Village’ on the basement of Heeren at Orchard Road for lunch and about 18 people showed up, most of them girls (LOL). I still recognize many of them, though some may have changed in looks some bit, like myself. LOL. If I’m not wrong, the people that were there include Irene, Shumei, Shufen, Jieyi, Wanling, Qingfang, Sooklee, Chuifia, Yanling, Erin, Liuping, Kasaya, Yunlong, Rongzan, Lide, Jianliang and Chekmeng. (It’s not like anyone who reads this blog knows them but this is for my own record)

Ash Ash Ash

It was so fun~ and the mushroom soup was aaaaawesome…. *Drools* The banana crepe was also somewhat disappointing but it still tasted fine. After lunch some of us remained to hang out further and watched a movie. That was when I watched the Balls of Fury movie which was so lame. LOL. In any case, the gathering was awesome, thanks to Chekmeng, Sookle and Chuifia (or so I heard?) who organized it all!

Ash Ash Ash Ash

Lastly, let’s just say that the one last expensive thing I have yet (but will) get is the PS3, and that I’m saving for February next year when DMC4 comes out… *Grins madly* Hopefully by then the price of the PS3 would have dropped even more… Mwahahaha!!

9th October 2007, Tuesday

Okay, I’m feeling like updating my blog but I dunno exactly what to write about except for the primary school class reunion gathering. Then again, I want to leave that till next time cos I’m rather sleepy now so for now, lemme just randomly rant in straightforward point form on some of the most random things I’ve done since I came back to Singapore, or… just random things.

  1. Kim Gary HK food restaurant – Alright. I say a B.
  2. MRT/bus fare – Going up, up and away. *Curses*
  3. Pastamania – Sells the worst chowder in this universe.
  4. Clothes shopping – Bugis Street is the heaven, although it’s warm, humid, tight-spaced and stressful. Not exactly the bright and spacious heaven you’d want it to be.
  5. Fruits – Ate papaya! YUM! But no sweet mango… T__T Seller said the mangoes these days are sour and he’s right… Gah!
  6. Worst Japanese food place – Yoshinoya.
  7. Arcade – Home sweet home… *Cries and molests the arcade machines*
  8. Bread Talk (Store) – Not as awesome as I though it’d be… Where’s my Yakitate Japan!?
  9. The only drink I buy outside – Crysanthemum tea. O_o…
  10. Sandals – Bought 3 pairs since I came back. So far only 2 has hurt my feet… =_=… Sense the sarcasm?
  11. Old Chang Kee – YumMmMmm!! Gimme my crab claws and sotong balls!
  12. Skirts – Yeah, since I came back I haven’t been able to wear pants outside. The weather’s too warm and humid I need mah skirts. @_@ And now people prolly think I a feminine girl… Oh man, how wrong they are.
  13. KFC – For some reason it wasn’t as awesome as I remembered. Tasted like KFC in the US… only slightly better cos of the chili packets. Yay for chili packets!
  14. Favorite food – BANMIAN!!! Still as oishii as ever!! And only $3.5!! =P
  15. New favorite food – Nasi Lemak from the Tanjong Pagar market that’s currently under renovation. SoOoOo geeWwwWdd… but not better than banmian =P
  16. Batteries - … I swear I should have stocked up a couple boxes of batteries from the US. I saw 2 AAA batteries sold for $8 at 7-Eleven. Holy flying cows.
  17. Balls of Fury – Every time I see this movie title I think of something different… And I’m sure you know what it is… =P *Grins* Anyway… funny but lame movie, obviously, as expected by all since the beginning of time... O_o… Yeah. Wasn’t worth the 8 bucks I spent, but the time I spent watching it with primary school friends was worth it. =)
25th September 2007, Tuesday

Now, it’s either you’ll fall asleep reading this blog entry or… you’ll fall asleep anyway, cos this time I’m gonna rant about the arcade… for the first time ever on this site, and it’s gonna be about the arcade games that were once my life for over 7 years…

It’s been 20 days since I’m back in Singapore (OMFG) and I’ve been to the arcade about 7 times so far. In all those times, I’ve had the chance to play again these games again: KOF 98, KOF 2002, KOF 2003 and Project Justice (Rival Schools 3). I’ve been less than happy with my performance on King of Fighters considering how long I’ve not touched that series altogether but in any case, I still had tons of fun. ^_^!! It felt great to be able to enter a real arcade and play a fighting game on an arcade joystick. It’s so nostalgic… T__T

So now I’m gonna go into a bit of KOF details… just for MY own record, really =P I’ve forgotten a lot of characters’ combos and the such. Sometimes I can’t even do what I used to be able to do and that’s always sad, but there’re still some characters I could (somewhat) survive with =P In other words, my favorite team includes LEONA, CHRIS and BENIMARU. In KOF 2003, just replace Chris with Ash, since Chris is no longer around.

Leona Chris Benimaru Ash

My strongest of the 3 is Leona, even though my ‘strongest’ isn’t really all that strong in actual KOF gamer standards. >_> That just means she’s the character I’m most confident using though technically Benimaru and Chris are easier. As for Ash, he works kinda like Charlie/Nash in Street Fighter, and although he has very few combos and such, for some reason he’s still fun and abusive. I haven’t played with him in the arcade too many times altogether (experience) before I came back to Singapore this time but yeah, I remember how much I loved him =P

Hopping on to Rival Schools 3 (aka Project Justice), oh man… I still love that game so much. T__T RS3 is the only 3D fighting game that I actually know how to play thanks to a certain someone in the past. My strongest is (still and always will be) Kyosuke. After all, he is the most practical character who also happens to be one of the easiest to learn (next to Robert). In fact, he IS the first character I learnt for that game. O_o

I was playing the game at Virtual Land at Bugis for the first time in 3.5 years when halfway through a guy challenged me. I was whining by then, wondering why I can’t play a game for the first time in so long without getting interrupted. Luckily though, I had Kyosuke as my first chosen character so I wasn’t entirely unconfident (the other 2 being Momo and Roy (practically this game’s version of Terry Bogard). The guy chose Robert (soccer dude) as his first character and immediately I knew he meant business, cos Robert IS the next cheapest character.

Kyosuke Momo Roy Robert

And so the battle began and I was nervous cos… DUH???  Anyway, I tried my best not to die… =P And hoala… I beat the guy. LMAO. The hell?? I think he got me once, but I took him down in the next round. WAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! Just as I was rejoicing, he challenged me again, and this time he used Natsu (volleyball girl). But anyway… I beat him… again. XD *Victory pose* Man, you don’t know how happy I was. @_@ After his second defeat, he stopped challenging and walked around the row of machines to see who he was challenging, I think, and that’s when I saw who it was. Well, it was someone I dunno but at least I confirmed that it was an adult guy. =P That made me feel so much better. Mwahahahhahaa!!! After all, you don’t get anything out of beating up an elementary school boy, do you? >_>;; Of course, if that elementary school boy is like the champion of that game in a tournament then yeah… So yup, Kyosuke is DA MAN!!! *Dances around with fans*

Next, let’s hop on to this new arcade KOF game… which is of the Maximum Impact series known as KOF Maximum Impact Regulation A… @_@ OMFG! It’s out in the arcade! @_@ It’s a neat surprise since the previous 2 KOF Maximum Impact games are only for the PS2 console and that’s just lame. Then again, I never really knew how to play the KOFMI series since it’s not 2D and the battle system is different, but still, it’s hard to resist when you see a KOFMI in the arcade!!

Apparently there’re 4 new characters to this arcade version – Ash (YAY!), Blue Mary, Xiao Lon (brand new character) and Makoto Mizoguchi (whoever the hell he is). Ash is a wonderful attraction, so yeah, naturally I was curious to see how the game is like. The first time I saw Ash in that game was when someone in the arcade used him in his alternate outfit… which earned a big WTHF gasp from me. O_O… The rest of the characters pretty much look the same as I remember them from the previous KOFMI games.

Original outfit Alternate outfit

Anyway, the first few times I saw the game in the arcade there were people playing, always. The machine is hardly ever empty, and since I wasn’t really interested in it I didn’t really care if I couldn’t get to play it. But this past Sunday when I went to Plaza Singapura, seeing an empty machine for that game urged me to play it and so I did.

Since this is gonna be my first time, I thought that I better use characters that I’ve used before in KOFMI 1 or 2 – Alba and Rock, and the new Ash. So I was practicing on the machine, not really knowing how to play the game and what to do for combos. In fact, I wasn’t even sure of their basic moves list. O_o;; So I was just trying things out and dying against the computer on my first stage when someone challenged me. =_=;;

Alba Ash Rock

So I was prepared to die horribly but tried my best not to die anyway… and I won. =_=;; Obviously, it’s someone who doesn’t know how to play, but since he’s on the other side of the machine I have no idea who it was. Well, whatever. I still got the machine back to myself. Hehehehe. So I continued playing, and I died. =_= I think it took me 2 more replays before I somehow managed to beat the game with Alba, Soiree and Luise (cheap lady). Wheeeee~~!! XD At least I got to beat the game, once! ^_^! Oh, the challenger from before also came back to challenge me again twice, I think, and he lost both times. I was curious who it was so I asked a friend to go around and take a look for me. Apparently it’s just this elementary school boy… Yup. Remember what I said about beating elementary school kids…? LOL

Anyway, I regret not dominating that machine for as long as I can cos later when me and my friend came back to the arcade after leaving it for a while, it was taken by a group of guys (the pros…) who keep playing again and again. T__T Oh, I remember now. I think I TRIED to dominate that machine before but someone challenged me and this time it’s one who actually knows how to play the game. He used Duke, Ash and someone else I forgot who cos I never got to him. He was really cheap with Ash and he kept doing this cheap combo thing which I couldn’t break out of cos obviously I don’t know how to, and so I died. =/… I swear I’ll master that same cheapness and get my revenge.

So yeah man, the moment I got home that day I went online to look for the game’s official site to look at the move lists. I’ve noted a couple characters’ move list in a little book, and I’m gonna bring that book along with me the next time I go to an arcade. I’m planning on ‘mastering’ Alba, Ash, Rock, Leona, Luise and Xiao Lon first. Hehe. Actually, I should practice a little of it first on KOFMI2… that is, if those combos exist. So the next time I play that game in the arcade, I’ll be more prepared. HEHEHEHE…. Just you wait, bastards… *Waves fist*

Oh, before I forget, here are some pics my KOF girl friends took when I hung out with them this past Saturday.

Photo Photo Photo

Man, I miss them so much. T___T Those were the old nostalgic days… when we would hang out once in a while to play in the arcade like mad. Most of them have retired from KOF, some stopped gaming altogether and some moved to different games like I did but even then it still feels good to be back with them and fangirly together about anything. XD Oh RIGHT, the next best thing that happened (after owning at Rival Schools LOL) was when I found out that the very first KOF girl that I met like 8 years ago is now into Resident Evil 4. ^_________^!!! OMG. Because of that, all through dinner I made sure that I sat beside her so that I could geek to her nonstop about the game, which I did. =P MWAHAHAHAHAHA!! And this Thursday, we’re gonna hang out and have a full RE day. *_* Wheee~~!!! I can’t wait!!

18th September 2007, Tuesday

BOO! Surprise! =P I’m back! Temporarily, that is. It’s now been about 14 days since I left the US… and it’s been about 10 days since I’ve landed on Singapore… I’m not gonna rant on the sad and depressing things so I’m just gonna jump right into the good and happy things =)

To summarize what it’s about, basically it’s about me hanging out with the friends I’ve not seen for nearly 4 years, or the online friend I’ve never met in person. =P Hanging out with someone in real life is really the only way right here and now that can keep me away from depression, so yes, here it goes:

Monday – With Irene: At Vivo City
So, the very first friend I reunited with since I came back was none other than Irene, my best friend in Singapore. =D It was on Monday starting late afternoon. We met at Vivo City Mall where we had dinner at Hong Kong Kim Gary, a mid-class (?) Hong Kong food restaurant place… whose food doesn’t feel, look or taste all too Hong Kongy… But anyway, we ate there for quite a while since we talked as we ate, taking our own sweet time. =)

We also took some pictures, which unfortunately some of them were faulty and weren’t saved even though we took them =( Unfortunately, they were the pictures that we took together T__T so the only pictures that were saved were those of us that were taken separately. Also, that was time when I found out that Irene loves to take pictures of food with her digital camera. LOL. For some reason that sounds like her all right =P Maybe she should have gone and taken journalism or photography… hmm… =P

Photo Photo

After eating, we walked around the mall aimlessly for a bit as we continued talking. I forgot what we talked about but well, I remember I had fun. XD After that, we went out to the er… ‘balcony’ or ‘open area’ at Vivo City, the viewing place that faced the sea and Sentosa. It was dark but it was still nice and the air was decently cool. There were lots of young couples there, sitting down in their little corner and staring off into the sea. I thought about going BOO! at random couples just for the heck of it but nah… =P

Then, we went to the Ezone arcade, which was really pathetic. We went there just so that I could watch Irene play para-para. Irene told me that I couldn’t take pictures nor videos in the arcade but I tried it anyway without getting caught, but her digicam fucked up again and the video wasn’t saved. =( I also tried looking around for any KOF machines and there was one… a KOF 99. =_=;; You know what, actually, that isn’t a bad thing. Cos’ I’d LOVE to still play KOF 98 if it’s in the arcade but 99…. >_>;; 99 wasn’t all too awesome even though I played it like a freaking lot… Oh well.

Before going home, we stopped by this Japanese store called Daiso or something. It’s a store that sells a huge variety of things for $2 each. I’m guessing it’s supposed to be the equivalent of a 100 yen store in Japan but since 100 yen + the fact that everything’s imported = more than SGD1, they’re selling it at $2. So anyway, yeah, that’s about it for this outing with Irene. I’m so glad I could meet with her again. It reminds me greatly of old times….

Thursday – With Peggy & Dawa: At Suntec City
Actually, on this day I was supposed to only meet with Peggy but luckily and fortunately, she bumped into Dawa at the bus stop and so we invited him to join us~ I’ve not met Dawa for over 6 years, so that was really a surprise for them to bump into each other to create this opportunity. ^__^!!

We met at the main entrance of Suntec and first thing we did was to find food in the food court. I had my beloved ban mian there and man…! I so missed that taste!!! It’s not like it’s the world’s greatest delicacy whatsoever but I still love it. O_o I can never get sick of it. XD After eating, we went to this Japanese gothic outfits store called Atsuki just to check it out. It’s a little store selling a number of Lolita gothic dresses and such. Some were cute and all but I didn’t bother to try any of them, which I now kinda regret cos I remember that one of them, this kimono look-alike one is really pretty. But it’s not like it’s cheap anyway… >_>;; They’re all over $100… =(

Photo Photo Photo

After that, we visited a couple shoe stores to look for new sandals (me and Peggy) but we found nothing that we like. So, we continued to walk around thinking of where we wanted to go next until Dawa suggested we go to the Sky Garden (an open garden up on the 3rd floor? I forgot). So we went there, looked around and took some pics. ^__^!!

Photo Photo Photo Photo

Since we had time even after that, we decided to go to Marina Square, which was just right across the street. In there, we looked around a couple more clothes store and then visited the arcade…. o_o…. That’s the first time I’ve entered an arcade and PLAYED something since I came back to Singapore. It felt great, but also annoying at the same time (at myself) since I have to live with the fact that I’m now soooooooo bad at KOF. T__T Chikushoooo!! And so I played some games, so did Peggy and Dawa, and before we left we played some Bishie Bashy Champ together. It was so fun and funny XD I always loved that game even if I sucked at it. XD!! Dawa always loses too fast though… sad… >_<! Oh, I also watched Peggy play some Para Para. Obviously, she really memorizes and practices the actual dance moves/sequence a lot (I managed to shoot a video of her too, even though the godamn cashier caught me and warned me not to do it >_>;). I wondered, though, if Para Para’s really still as popular as before. After all, it has been 7 years since its boom. O_o…

Anyway, after that we went home, but we decided that we’d meet again the next day to shop at Bugis… So, let’s continue on to the events on the next day~ =P

Friday – With Peggy and Dawa: At Bugis
And so this time we met at Bugis, since our goal was to go shopping and buy some stuff we’ve had in mind to buy. My shopping quest was for skirts and sandals, Peggy’s was sandals and a bag. Dawa came with us anyway even though he hates shopping cos he wants to hang out, so there we go. =)

So first off, the jolly merry three of us went and had lunch at Pastamania. According to my bro and some friends, that’s the cheapest place you can get pasta. We also thought about eating at the fancy food court on the 3rd floor but seeing that there were so many people cos it was lunch hour, we decided to go for Pastamania. As a seafood freak, I got the seafood pasta dish thingy, along with an added combo of a drink + soup of the day + garlic bread. It was Friday, so it was clam chowder. I was so happy, thinking I could still eat chowder outside the US. But OMFG… how wrong I was.

We sat down at a table and first thing I did was to try the soup. ARGH!@#$%^&* … It’s horrible beyond words. Basically, it was not chowder. It was a bowl of milk with some clams so tiny you need a magnifying glass to see them. If anyone of you people reading this live in Singapore and wants to try Pastamania out, heed my advice. NEVER order the clam chowder, or you’ll forever hate chowder without tasting how it REALLY SHOULD taste like. The pasta itself also wasn’t all that great although it wasn’t too bad, but all that for $15? Man… I want my Olive Garden… T__T…..

Anyway, after eating, we walked over to Bugis Street and did our shopping there. One of the first shops we looked at sold skirts at 5 bucks!! @_@ I was like OMFG!! MUST TRY!! And so I did, and I liked it! And it was only 5 bucks!! *Dies* Mwahahahaa!! Man, that was an awesome buy. It was a black skirt with some lace here and there making it look slightly Lolita gothic. LOL. Poor Dawa though; he had to wait around for a while as I took my time shopping, and I know he hates shopping. Poor guy. Peggy was all right though, since she was also there for shopping. =P

And so the second thing I bought was also a skirt. This time it’s white, but it’s also more expensive. It was $23. I was reluctant to buy but it was nice and it looked like it could be worn for work and such. The lady selling it was also pretty convincing (LOL) and she gave me a discount (originally $29) so I ended up getting it. >_> The next one after that was a top which had really nice colors and it had the kind of design I always liked so yeah, I bought that too, for $22. The last one I bought was also a top, a white one, and it looked a little Lolita too and I thought that it’d match the black skirt I bought perfectly so yup, I bought it too. Wahahahha! That one’s $18.

After spending 20-ish bucks on three clothing items, I felt like I needed to get something that’s extremely cheap like the $5 skirt. But alas, I couldn’t find any. I tried to find my sandals too but there was just nothing like what I wanted. =( Dawa shopped with us up till the first round and he left half way through, so Peggy and I continued. We practically shopped the entire day until around 5 or 6pm-ish when we went back to Bugis Junction to check out more stores there and for dinner.

I ate laksa for dinner and that was great. I always loved the broth for laksa and this one’s yummy, just slightly more expensive than usual cos it’s like a yong tau foo slash laksa. We talked a lot after dinner and I think we continued to talk, shop around again, and talked again until it was time to go home. It was tiring cos we walked the entire day but it was fun, and I got to buy some nice clothes too. =D Whee~~!

Saturday – With Gillian: At Marina Square
So Gillian… yes… She’s original an online friend I met through my forum first and then through another online friend on MSN. Of course, I’ve heard of her ‘famous name’ online before but I’ve never really know her. Anyway, long story short, we decided to meet up and so here we are~ It was great to see her in person cos it just felt so much better than just chatting online. She’s also nice and friendly to talk to, so it was great. ^_^!!

So we met at City Hall MRT control station. She’s eaten but I hadn’t really so we went to find food first at Marina Square. But before that, we stopped by 7/11 to get myself some drinks and a box of plasters. =_=;; I was wearing this er… tall boots and it was really really killing my feet cos I could feel the skin peeling off the er… bottom part of my feet near the toes. It hurt so bad T__T… If you’re wondering why I had to wear those boots, I can only say cos it’s 1) the only pair of shoes I brought home with me 2) the only thing that’ll match what I was wearing that day… which was the white top and black skirt that I bought just the day before. =P

Anyway, so we went to Marina Square and I ate at Yoshinoya cos she recommended it to me. I haven’t tried it before so I did and… it was okay. O_o… It wasn’t even really Japanese, but at least it wasn’t like YUCKY. It just wasn’t all too awesome… Oh, right, I went to Marina Square in search for my favorite ban mian store whose name I forgot. T__T I just remember that there’s a “Q” in the name at the beginning. Like Qian Lian or Qiu Lian or something like that. But Marina Square has changed so much that I don’t even know where’s where and what’s what, so I just decided to take on Gillian’s recommendation. Well, one thing’s for sure – Not that it was horrible, but I won’t go to Yoshinoya again for Japanese food, ever.

After that, I tried to find my old favorite place – the arcade known as Game Station. But guess what, I COULDN’T FIND IT!! @_@ The place has changed, the walls have changed, the rooms and stores and everything have changed and that arcade that I remembered was gone!! @_@ NOOOO!!!! T____T…. So, becos we had no choice, I ended up going to the arcade upstairs which I remembered from the other day having gone there with Peggy and Dawa.

So, we stayed in the arcade for a while. An hour maybe? I don’t remember. At first we watched some guy playing a zombie shooting game… or something. And then we went and tried Guitar Freaks? Or was it Guitar Maniac? Whatever. It was a guitar game, and old one that’s been around for a long time I think. GUITAR. And Gillian’s a Guitar Hero whore, so am I (to a certain extent only LOL) and so we decided to try it out. But alas… it was bad. O_o For one, the guitar was heavy. Two, the strummer was stiff and weird. Three, even though we were only playing basic songs things just didn’t go right even though we swear we did just fine… so we lost at the second song. LOL. Dammit. >_>;;

And so we hopped on to the next music game we found which is Beat Mania. It’s like this keyboard slash DJ ish thing… and we both have never played it before but we decided to give it a go anyway. It was weird and we did pretty horribly… but we still passed all the songs, at least. Hahahahaha! We also played Bishie Bashy Champ, which was a first time for her. It was so hilarious, still. I wish we can play more of it again sometime. After that, I went and played some KOF 2002… Wahahahaha! It’s the only KOF game in that arcade that I know how to play. The rest were of this new… edition, I dunno which year and I tried once and failed miserably. So yeah, I don’t wanna touch it again. (The buttons were also arranged in the non-default manner so it made it A LOT WORSE)

Gillian watched me play and I hope she wasn’t bored since she’s not into fighting games. She also tried it herself once but since we messed up on who to use cos I was too busy talking to her about other things she ended up choosing Mai, Goro and Benimaru. I don’t know how to use Goro so I really couldn’t tell her what to do… although that isn’t the first problem cos that’ll be teaching her how to even play fighting games in general. ^^;; And becos of that she didn’t last very long but still, it was great to see that she even actually wanted to try it for the hell of it. I’m so proud of her! ^__^!! Which reminds me… we also saw a KOF girl gamer who was playing against another guy and she won… like 3 times consecutively. WAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Girl gamers FTW!!!

After the arcade, we went to take a print card thingy. It’s been too long since I took one of those so I don’t exactly remember how it was like and we messed up a lot of our shots but at least we still had one that was decent. Unfortunately the printer was acting weird or something and it printed Gillian’s face blurrily T__T. That’s so wasted! Maybe we were moving around when the shot was taken? =(

Photo Photo

Later, we also took our own pictures using my digicam. My feet was already seriously hurting and dead by then but man… I had no choice. Can’t possibly walk around barefooted… not in the mall. It was 6pm after taking a few pictures and Gillian had to go home, so we left for the MRT. Perhaps it was a good thing that we had to end the outing early, cos if I had to walk any longer I might really have to either enter a foot hospital (imagine it exists) or endure the embarrassment and walk home from the mall to the train to the roads and then home barefooted. And in actuality, I did walk home barefooted, though only from the bus station right by the apartment estate to home. Yeah, that’s how much my feet hurt. And even without the shoes I was already walking awkwardly. =_= Shoes and sandals haven’t been nice to me lately. I have bandages and plasters and stuff all over my feet, both of them, from getting hurt from wearing my sandals and shoes. That hardly happened before. Wonder how this started happening… =/

Anyway, that was it for the day. While it was sad that Gillian and I didn’t meet for too long, we still had fun, at least I did. =P It was only a shame that we couldn’t get to play Guitar Hero together. Someday somehow, we SHALL do that =P We have to. Wahahahahaha! Together we shall rule the world….!!!!111 LMAO. She’ll rule the world, I’ll just watch over her. =P
