When I first fought this boss, I didn’t even know I was fighting a boss until I died (blasphemy, cause’ he’s easy) and noticed his orange life bar. Though easy, still, be prepared to potentially get a little annoyed... and a LOT annoyed on DMD.
- Basically, all you do is jump and snatch a nearby Gladius (the flying things) and then Buster it (press O). Remember to hold R1 for the target lock-on after grabbing a Gladius for Nero to swing the Gladius at the glass screen. That will take down Agnus's health… for some reason. >_>;
- Otherwise, you can jump and slash away at the glass window yourself, which does very little damage.
- Other than the Gladius, the only other thing to watch out for in this battle is the electrocuted floor. It glows for a split second before it electrocutes for a few seconds after.
You can avoid it by jumping and continually shooting in mid-air to keep yourself airborne, or you can stand on the small round platform in the middle of the room. What makes it hard, possibly, is if any of the Gladius attacks you while you're in mid-air shooting, knocking you down to the ground and getting electrocuted, resulting in double~triple damage.
- To avoid getting hit, keep shooting (regardless if you're in mid-air or on ground) with your gun whilst continuously changing targets by pressing L3. The Gladius will not attack so long you keep them at bay that way. [Thanks to Entoursis for the tip] (Tip not shown in the video demo below)
For replayers: You can also unleash DT if a Gladius is going to hit you in mid-air. It should grant you a few invincibility frames to save yourself from getting knocked down.
