There's some traveling in this mission, and
Trickster may come in handy when it comes to
reducing travel time and running away from enemies.
If you've leveled it up to level 3, you can
also use Air Trick in battle to adopt the Hit
& Away strategy.

Spiral |
Against the Damned Pawns and Bishops,
it is effecient to close in your distance using
Stinger and connecting it with Million Stab
or Cerberus' attacks. If they show signs of
attack, you can easily evade by jumping or performing
Hightime. Just in case you don't stay in the
air long enough to avoid getting hit by Bishop's
fire balls, use the handguns to gain some airborn
time.

Conserve your
health for Vergil's battle!
Enemies move slow,so it should be easy
to earn your stylish points. Since there
is only one compulsory battle, make sure
to defeat those that lie around the corridors
as well. If you think that isn't enough,
you can leave and re-enter Lux-luminous
Corridor for the enemies to re-spawn.
Note: A really easy way to earn a SSStylish
rank is to release DTE when close to a
bunch of enemies.

Grab
the hidden red orbs!
Kick jump the wall, or Air Hike, as you
see in the picture on the left. You should
receive a few hidden red orbs. This is
right by the spiral staircase. |

You can find secret mission #8 on your
way down the spiral staircase. Press O
by the red light as you see in the picture
on the left. First timers, be prepared
for quite a battle. |

You can find secret mission #9 by jumping
onto a ledge that's above the left wall
of the corridor in the Vertibule room.
It is mostly hidden. If you still don't

Destroy the Nevan combat adjudicator!
You can find the second Nevan combat
adjudicator at the end of the long corridor
in Obsidian Path. It's always easier to
break it with swordmaster, and since there
is a divinity statue nearby, you can always
change styles there.

puzzle in the Vertibule room, here it
is. Remember to break the cracked wall
on the right side of the room, and another
mirror inside. It should be self explanatory

- Vergil's Starfall kick (his version of
Killer Bee) always leaves an opening the
moment he lands. Avoid the move by jumping,
then take the chance to attack using Helm
Breaker and connect into a combo. In the
early stage of the battle, Vergil does this
frequently, and Air Trick won't be helpful,
so be careful.
- Vergil will activate Devil Trigger after
his health has been lowered to about 70%.
Naturally, his attacks will be stronger,
so it may be safer to wait around till he
turns back into human form. However, you
can also force him back into human form
by inflicting enough damage. You may want
to use DT as well for that.

Just keep
your damage down and S rank will be
all yours!
The criteria for time, orbs and stylish
points is low, hence all that's left
for you to work on is your damage, especially
when fighting Vergil. If you're stuck
on whether to attack or evade, always
prioritize evasion. It is all right
to spend a little more time, rather
than receiving damage. |

Hard
& Dante Must Die mode
In Dante Must Die mode, Vergil will
also attack using his Summoned Swords.
He will also perform Judgement Cut 3
times instead, so remember to Dash or
roll away 3 times as well. Make sure
to counter every single opening he leaves. |

The enemies remain the same, but they
will move around and attack faster. |

Dante Must Die mode
Enemies still remain the same, but their
attacks grow even more powerful, again.
Also, the moment you take one out, the
rest will DT, so use your own DT wisely
while you gather them close and fight. |

Heaven or Hell mode
There shouldn't be anyway you'd get hit
so long you fire at them first. The one
thing you should be careful of is the
cursed door. Make sure to get away immediately
just in case the hand gets you. |
