Quicksilver
You will be fighting solely the Abyss in this mission and they appear from all over the place. Quicksilver is recommended for its Time Lag to slow these fast creatures down but Trickster can also do the trick.

The Abyss are more strong at both offense and defense. To avoid risks, you'll have to hold them down with speedy attacks or deal maximum damage at once, hence the recommended combination above. On a side note, the Abyss are weak against ice so you may also want to consider the Cerberus nunchucks if you're facing difficulties.

Defeat the Abyss one by one!
Be aware that the Abyss gain invincibility the moment they begin their motion to attack. When many come at you at once, it is better that you focus on one and take them down one by one slowly. If you get surrounded, use wide-ranged attacks to knock them back and keep your combos going before they get back up.

Control time and attack!
The Abyss often guard you from the front but they're vulnerable from the back. With Quicksilver, you can always lag time and run towards their back to attack. You can also use it to evade risky attacks such as the Abyss' scythe swing. In Nirvana of Illusions where you have to break the mirror, time lag can greatly help you by slowing the enemies down and prolonging your hit time on the mirror.

Grab the Vital Star (L)!
In Nirvana of Illusions, there are two giant chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. On one of them lies a Vital Star (L) free for the taking. |

Recover your health!
Assuming that you've taken considerable damage during the battles up to Infinity Nirvana, recover your health for free by grabbing the large green orbs lying around Lost Souls Nirvana. |

- Most of Arkham's attacks are frontal, so Air Hike over to his back where he's weak to attack. Arkham may then turn around to face you but it'll work if you keep repeating it anyway.
- Arkahm's Legions have very little HP so you can easily kill them a bunch of them with one shot of Kalina Ann. Alternatively, you can also use Nevan's Crazy Roll.

Use up all your Devil Trigger!
Vergil joins you half way through the battle and by that point you won't be able to use your style action (O button) nor Devil Trigger, so before that happens make sure to maximize your D.T usage before it's too late. |

Hard
& Dante Must Die mode
Arkham's attacks don't differ much from that of Normal mode but naturally his HP increases. It'll take a longer time to take out his HP normally so you may want to activate D.T for the extra damage and recovery. |

Hard mode
There will now be 7 Abyss in the Room of Fallen Ones. The bigger change is in the enemies back in Temen-ni-gru. There's no need for you to go back but it may be fun to take a look at the differences. |
|
|
|
|
Dante Must Die mode
Like Hard mode, the enemies back in Temen-ni-gru increases in number and strength and it may be very risky to go back for orb farming. |
|
|
|
|
Heaven or Hell mode
As always, equip Ebony & Ivory and nothing should stop you so long you keep attacking from a distance. |
