Gunslinger

It will be effective to use the Gunslinger style against the Blood Goyles who appear at the beginning of this mission. It will also be useful against the Enigmas in the Living Statue room so it should be all right not to change styles until you get to the boss.

Devil Arms #1: Rebellion Devil Arms #2: Cerberus
Guns #1: Ebony & Ivory Guns #2: Shotgun

Your weapons remain the same as before for now. There is a lot of moving up and down in this mission so Rebellion's Air Hike will come in handy. You will need to use the guns agains the Blood Goyles, and there's the Cerberus style master statue as well, so it'll be good to get used to switching back and forth between weapons and guns using the L2 and R2 buttons.

Get S rank point #1

Focus on the stylish points and orbs ranking!

It's relatively easy to get a rank S in this mission but do not be careless. It is easier to get a rank A for time but getting a S may be hard, which means you would probably have to earn a rank S on the other factors. For damage, you can still earn an S if you get hit 2~3 timess, so all you need is an S for either orbs or stylish points.

There is a falling red orbs spot again in this mission as shown in the left picture above. Fallen red orbs in a particular place can be received only once thoughout the entire game, but if you could grab these in mission 5, you're guarunteed a rank S for orbs.

 Get S rank point #2

How do I earn my stylish points?

In the elevator room, there're altogether 16 Hell Prides that appear, thus is a good chance for you to earn your stylish points. They appear four times in groups of four, so try attacking them all together without creating open spaces. Remember that you use thrusting attacks like Stinger, they will be thrown off the elevator.

Are you stuck?

Where do I go after attaining the Soul of Steel?

After using the Astronomical Board, attaining the Vajura, using it and attaining the Soul of Steel, return to Endless Infernum where the bridge to the other side collapsed back in mission 4. Cross the empty space where the bridge used to be and you will find yourself walking in mid-air. Get over to the other side where there is a Cerberus style master statue, break it, and you're good to go. Proceed through the door right next.

Agni & Rudra

"SIGH? What is SIGH?!"

Trickster
Devil Arms #1: Rebellion Devil Arms #2: Cerberus
Guns #1: Ebony & Ivory Guns #2: Shotgun

HP: 7000   Attribute: Fire/Wind   Boss bonus: 4000

  1. Firstly, continue to hit either of them until your attack is repelled. At this time, look out for the other one so that you don't get hit in the back. After repelling, he will attempt to slash you, but if you perform Revolver using Cerberus, it will stop his attack and hit him at the same time.

  2. Try to damage both Agni & Rudra equally. If one is downed the other will start using dual sword techniques so it'll be easier if you defeat them both at the same time.

Get S rank point

Attack stylishly!

Your stylish points will be raised if you manage to repel their attacks, so if you can make use of this you could very possibly earn up to a SS rank or above. When you keep your distance away during the times they perform jump attacks on you, keep shooting with Ebony & Ivory to keep your stylish points up.

Hard & Dante Must Die mode

Agni & Rudra now become more aggresive and if you try to repel one's attacks, chances are you will get hit from a blind spot by the other. So try to stay in a good location and not lose sight of them.

Item Used 100 400 900 1500 1501<

Hard mode

The number of Hell Prides that appear in the Entranceway and Chamber of Echoes have been reduced from 6 to 4. They inflict more damage but you shouldn't have problems with them.

Dante Must Die mode

When battling against Blood Goyles, be careful as not to hit the un-stoned ones with your melee weapons during close combat. In the elevator room, try knocking enemies off the platform instead of defeating them. There will also be Fallens in the Giantwalker Chamber.

Heaven or Hell mode

Basically, just like all other missions, shoot all enemies with Ebony & Ivory. In the elevator room, using Kalina Ann may be useful against the many Hell Prides. In the Living Statue room, watch out for Enigmas that may shoot you from a blind spot.
