Trickster
There is a bit of platforming activity in this mission and Trickster's handy maneuvers should prove useful. Sky Star also enables you to switch directions in mid-air, so you might want to level up Trickster to LV 3 beforehand.

There are many mandatory battles in this mission and the combination of Rebellion and the handguns should help greatly. The Beowulf gauntlets will come in good use for damage against the several Abyss. The Cerberus nunchucks may also be useful for its speed and multi-hit attacks for which you can use to lock the enemies' movements.

Mess with pole plays!
You can pick up a gold orb (yellow for NTSC US version) in the Trial of Warrior, and in it is a pole which you can use to perform pole play on. It doesn't do too much of a damage but you can thrust enemies away with it. With Rebellion equipped, you can always keep up with your attacks after swinging off the pole to increase your style points.

Position the camera to watch your landing!
You can re-position the camera freely in this room so look around carefully to locate the next block to proceed. Try not to waste too much time here to reduce time consumption for an S rank. If it gets too dark, you can always fire the handguns for some light.

Follow the image guide on the left and you should get there no problem. Trickster would make this faster and easier but it shouldn't matter too much. |

Discover secret mission #11!
You can find this mission along the middle ledge above in the Pitch-black Void. The easy way to clear this secret mission is to have Trickster equipped but it's not necessary. |

Grab the blue orb fragment!
To obtain this blue orb fragment, you'll have to first enter the door on the 2nd floor in the God-cube chamber and fight several enemies. After defeating them, exit through the other door and follow the path to the end for your reward. |

- Doppelganger is invulnerable when surrounded by darkness. To inflict damage on him, you will have to trick him into the light. There are 6 light switches altogether in the battlefield and you can turn them on by hitting them with your melee weapons.
- To trick Doppelganger, turn on the switch only when he's close enough. If the light touches him, he will be rendered vulnerable for a short time. Attacking him with Beowulf inflicts the most damage.

It's not necessary to turn on all the switches!
It will take some time for you to turn on all the switches so it's recommended that you do it just one by one. Turn on the switch when Doppelganger right in range and then attack. It lasts only for a very short time but Beowulf should do enough damage. |

Hard
& Dante Must Die mode
Doppelganger fires 'Volcano Ombra' from time to time to turn off the switches. On Normal mode you can deflect them with your melee weapon but the harder the mode the harder it is to do so since Doppelganger learns to re-deflect it back at you. At this point perhaps it's better to just evade it and wait for another chance to attack. |

Hard mode
There is now 1 more Enigma and Hell Vanguard in the Firewind Chamber but they appear separately. Other than that, there isn't much difference. |

Dante Must Die mode
This time, Soul Eaters appear along with the enemies in the Trial of Wisdom and Skull Spire rooms. They love to lock your movements so make sure to take them out ASAP. |

|
|
Heaven or Hell mode
As usual everyone dies in one hit but the Abyss are capable of blocking your shots so be careful anyway and shoot from a fair distance. |
