For clarity sake, let's call
this boss Vante.
- Vante's newfound martial art combo begins
with 2 ground kicks followed by a 2-hit
air kick (Rising Sun) and a downward thrust
kick (Starfall).
Whenever he does this, jump away
and counter him with Beowulf's
Starfall the moment he lands,
then continue with combos.
- After hitting him a couple of times, chances
are he'll parry you. If parried, jump
away quickly and counter with Starfall
again when he's done, then combo him and
keep the pattern going. At this point
of the battle, he won't be attacking you
with anything else but Beowulf.
Reminder: You
can tell when he's going to parry you.
He makes a grunt before he parries.
- Once about 30% of his life is taken,
Vante will DT. Keep away
from him until you find the right moment
to counter him when he's recovering from
a move. Once taken a few hits, he will
turn back into human form. Use DT if you're
not confident in evading his moves as
you counter.
- Even in DT, Vante keeps to his
Beowulf attacks. Sometimes he may teleport
into the air at a random location and
do a Starfall, so jump
away to avoid, and if need, perform
Trick Up at the right time to
safely dodge it.
- Once his life goes down to about 40%,
Vante will start performing Judgement
Cut. Counter him whenever he does
it and a few more repeats of all the above
should do it.
